Tracy currently offers counseling and coaching services focused on improving lifestyle and thought processes, as well as guidance towards achieving and maintaining an emotionally healthy lifestyle.  Her personal belief is that in striving towards complete health, it is important to take of the mind and emotional state, not just the physical body.

KATIE DISALVO, MS

Katie holds her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher College.  She also holds a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.  Katie is employed as a Prevention Counselor and Educator for Delhi Drug and Alcohol Agency with extensive experience working with populations from the rural, urban and suburban communities.

Katie believes that everyone deserves to be treated as an individual, and therefore caters her integrated approach to suit the needs of each person.  Counseling is far from being something shameful or for the "weak," but rather an opportunity for a person to gain insight and perspective on the obstacles they are experiencing in their lives.  This can be achieved by identifying one's goals and recognizing their strengths.  Katie advocates for achieving maximum health through wellness in the mind and body together.  Counseling should be client-directed so that the individual gains empowerment and a sense of control over their treatment.

Katie is working towards the last step in her New York State licensure process.  She is certified in Mental Health First Aid and is a New York State Mandated Reporter.  Katie currently provides individual counseling and coaching services for adults and teens and is accepting new clients.  She prides herself on providing a safe and confidential environment that promotes acceptance and independence.
